Hello bloggers, Producer Miles here, I reached out to you because I believe you would enjoy attending a local conference called “TechPHX”.
TechPHX is a conference that is aimed at people creating content online, and introducing entrepreneurs to the technical tools that can help them, specifically the social media side of things.
I created the rest of this page as an FAQ for more info about the conference, and mention specific sessions bloggers would be interested in at the end of the page.
When is this? November 15th 2014 8:30am-5pm (And then an unconference the next day)
Where is this? Tempe, in a college called “University of Advancing Technology” in the Theater room. The address is 2625 W Baseline Rd, Tempe, AZ 85283 (Google Map). If you zoom in on “Earth” view, the parking lot surrounding the building is where to park, signs will be out to direct you where to enter, Theater is on the ground floor near the security desk.
Can I participate remotely? You can watch remotely, we have been streaming the sessions live the last several years, but we don’t have a good feedback mechanism in place for you to ask questions, the speaker to see them, and answer, or have any follow up questions.
What sessions would be of interest to bloggers?
At 8:30am “Social Media for the ‘un’ social”
At 9:30am “Benefits of Blogging for Business”
At 10:20am “Social Media: More Business, Less Time Sick”
At 11:10am “Optimizing your Blog for Pinterest, Facebook, and Google”
Food Trucks during lunch at the venue
At 2:20pm “A Facebook Page isn’t Digital Marketing – 5 steps to a Better (and more profitable) Online Presence
At 3:10pm “Google Analytics 101″ and “Building a Business Around WordPress” and “Want to build your current community? Start here”
At 4pm “The Lawyer Is In” – Avoiding legal hot water online Q&A
I have another question. Tweet @techphx, email firstname.lastname@example.org , or text 480-744-4873
